We would like to share with you our Carter Riverside Ex-Student’s Association Membership Form.
If you would like to be part and help us support Carter Riverside High and its students and faculty and preserve our history, please fill out the following form and support our alumni association financially. Your membership dues support the following activities:
- Annual Back to School Faculty Pizza Lunch provided by alumni association
- Annual small grants program awarded to faculty to support special projects for their classes and students; we have donated several thousand dollars in small grants in the past several years
- Supporting our alumni website (currently under re-construction and will be online by November 2025!)
- Preserving our Carter Riverside and community archives
- Helping with other needs throughout the year
- As we re-build our association and membership we can do so much more to support Carter Riverside and its students!

Distinguished Graduate Criteria/Procedures
CRHS Distinguished Graduate Nomination Form
Amon Carter-Riverside High School Distinguished Graduate Award was established in 1983 to recognize a graduate of the high school whose achievements reflect a standard of excellence in his or her chosen field. The achievements of each distinguished graduate will be recognized by Amon Carter-Riverside High School so the person can be seen by students as a symbol of commitment and excellence to which they can aspire.
It was first introduced by a FWISD initiative to recognize the first 25 winners who brought honor to the ISD through their accomplishments. The ISD acknowledged them at a ceremony, Centennial of Public Education in Fort Worth, on March 7, 1983. It was promoted and continued by Robert Plummer, Carter-Riverside Class of 1949.
Criteria:
- The candidate has achieved significant accomplishment in his/her chosen career.
- The candidate’s contributions must have achieved national, state, or local recognition.
- The candidate is willing to accept the award in person or use technology to convey a message of acceptance.
- The candidate will promote the prestige of Amon Carter Riverside High School.
- Candidates will not be self-nominated.
- Candidate has been graduated for at least 15 years.
Nomination Process:
- Post nomination form on the Ex-Student website no later than January 15th.
- Announce Distinguished Graduate nominations are being accepted at annual Ex-Student meeting at Homecoming.
- Nominations will be accepted during the fall of the school year.
- Deadline for submission of nomination form is April 10th.
Selection Procedures:
- The Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) committee will be the determining organization to select the honoree.
- Selection will be made No Later Than April of the nomination year.
- The Principal will make final decision, in the event of a tie vote.
- The Principal will be responsible for notifying the nominee of their selection and make appropriate coordination of when the award will be presented.
